We all have such busy schedules; work, family, life, friends, and attempting to look your best. It’s a hectic life that sometimes doesn’t allow vacations to the beach nor pool. This summer I plan to escape and relax at my favorite Sun Tan City salon.
Here’s my summer tan plan:
Before any sunbed or sunless visit, be sure to prepare! – Before your visit, your skin should be clean and free of dead skin build up. You want your skin to get the best tan possible so using one of our exfoliates is essential. It is also helpful to use a body poof, be sure not to scrub skin too hard, gentle circular motions are recommended.
Change it up! – Don’t get caught in a tanning rut. Try our different levels and even get a Double-Dip! A Double-Dip is a sunbed session that is immediately followed by a sunless session. Changing up your tanning schedule can help you develop the golden glow you’re craving this summer!
Use one of our tanning lotions or sunless prep lotions for maximum results. – It isn’t a requirement but a strong suggestion to use a tanning lotion or sunless prep lotion before your session. It is highly important during your sunbed session because moist skin will accept the light while dry skin can reflect it. We do not recommend purchasing outdoor tanning lotion. Most retail store lotions do not contain the highest quality of ingredients, while our lotions do.
Skip the shower immediately following your visit. – Allow your skin to develop from the sunbed tanning lotion and / or from the sunless solution. We recommend that you wait 4 to 6 hours at a minimum. I like to wait longer so I can see and maintain the results longer.
Moisturize your skin! – Using one of our tan extenders is highly encouraged year-round to keep your skin hydrated. Hydrated skin will maintain color much longer than dry skin.

Enjoy your golden glow!
