Lexington Legends

We are huge supporters of the communities our tanning salons are in because we feel it’s important to give back. Sometimes it is fundraisers for a non-profit organization, and other times it’s something fun. And this sponsorship happens to be a blast!

Sun Tan City is a proud supporter of the Lexington Legends Baseball Team, where their home plate is in Lexington, Kentucky. If you live in the Lexington area, you’ll be able to participate in Sun Tan City nights at the ball field. Check our Facebook page for event times!

And new this year, the Lexington Legends have a dance team called Elle’s Belles, which we sponsor.

Sun Tan City Sponsors the Louisville Triple Crown of Running Team Challenge

Community involvement is so important to all of us at Sun Tan City. We are a family-owned business and our founders, the Kueber brothers, have always been philanthropic. And if you live in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, it’s not uncommon to see Rick on his daily run. So we have married Rick’s love of serving the community and exercising into one wonderful sponsorship. Sun Tan City is sponsoring the Team Challenge of the 2011 Louisville Triple Crown of Running!

Three races make up the Triple Crown of Running, which is a play on the Triple Crown – an infamous trilogy of horse races. We are based in Kentucky, after all!  There is the Anthem 5K Fitness Classic, Rodes City Run 10K, and the Papa John’s 10 Miler. To compete as a team, you must register individually for each of the races, then get your group together and sign up as a team. There is no extra cost to race as a team.

It’s a great way to get your friends together and do these races together. And don’t worry, you can walk, run or even do the bunny hop during the races! It’s about having fun, being healthy, and supporting your community.

The Louisville Triple Crown of Running supports the WHAS Crusade for Children.

Sun Tan City will have our own team in the race, so feel free to be our Scream Team! So get your friends together and join us at the start lines! We hope to see you there!

University of Louisville Game Sponsored by Sun Tan City

On October 2nd, we had a great time sponsoring the University of Louisville football game. STAR members were invited to purchase tickets and hang out with us in the Cardinal Village for tailgating before the game.

Making a Difference with the Pink Lounge Sponsorship

Here at Sun Tan City, we think it’s very important to support the communities we are in. This is why we sponsor so many events throughout the year. Ranging from sporting events to Chamber of Commerce events and even fashion shows, Sun Tan City does our best to support a wide arrange of events in our communities.

The latest event we sponsored was the Pink Tie Lounge for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Pink Tie Ball, which raises money for local breast cancer projects and “celebrates breast cancer survivorship and recognizes an individual, whose contributions have made a difference in the breast cancer fight, through the Komen Promise of One award.”

We are so proud to be able to help such a great cause, and have fun while doing so.
