Did you Know: We’re Neat Freaks

The way we look at it, you wouldn’t get into your skivvies to tan if a tanning salon wasn’t clean. This is why we are neat freaks!

Of course, we sanitize the beds after each use. But we go that extra step and deep clean each one of our beds each month. We sanitize every inch of the interior and exterior of the beds, including the cracks, crevices and hinges.

We also get those fans and filters spotless. Nobody wants little dusty bunnies hopping around the rooms, especially while you’re working on your tan and relaxing. But this also helps the beds stay in tip-top shape to give you the best tan possible.

This is just another way we go above and beyond to make sure your tanning experience is what you deserve – the best!

Thanksgiving Hours

Can Your Skin Tan After Doing the VersaSpa?

While I’m on tanning forums, I see this question over and over again… “Can your skin tan after doing the VersaSpa?” The answer is simple, and I think you’re going to like it. Yes.

The VersaSpa solution gives you a natural looking tan, but it does not build tolerance to UV light. So it’s a great way to get a quick tan without multiple visits to the salon, pool or beach.

However, if you’re planning on tanning and doing the VersaSpa, you’ll get the best results if you tan first. This is called our Double Dip. The reason you want to go into the VersaSpa second is because you want to avoid sweat, rain, and lotion while the solution is setting – which takes about 4 – 6 hours.

St. Jude’s Walk

It’s almost time for our Jasper, Indiana salon to walk in the St. Jude’s Research Hospital Walk! On November 20th, the Sun Tan City Angel’s team will walk at the Holy Family School.

The walk raises money to help fight childhood cancer. To donate online, visit the Sun Tan City Angel’s page. Or donations are being collected at the following salons:

Employee Appreciation Month Results

Let’s face it, our employees are the bomb.com. Yes, I know that saying is corny, but it just fits. For the first time, we dedicated all of October to honoring our employees. And on our Facebook page, we asked you to cast your vote on your favorite Sun Tan City Employees or tanning salon.
