We’re Growing!

We’ve got big plans for growth in 2010, and the year has just begun! Tomorrow marks the opening of our newly expanded St. Matthews sun tanning salon location in Louisville, Kentucky. St. Matthews is a fantastic area, with lots of great restaurants and places to shop (my favorite)! The next time you feel like pampering yourself, stop by the new St. Matthews Sun Tan City first for a great beauty boost before a night on the town.

Supporting Our Community

I want to use this post as an opportunity to let our readers know how we at Sun Tan City are supporting the communities we serve.

Just before the holidays, a company-wide fundraiser for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation concluded with a $7,888 check being presented to Kentucky coordinator Bob Cross. The funds and toys donated were collected from our generous clients at all 103 Sun Tan City salons.

Thank you for your generosity and your help in making this gift possible! I’m sure your donations made a genuine difference for someone during the holidays—and that is something you should all be very proud of.

Give Yourself A Gift—You Deserve It!

Life can be a pain sometimes. Schedules can get busy, work can be overwhelming and stress levels can go through the roof! That’s why we think it’s so important to take a bit of time out of each day for a bit of “me time.” I know plenty of people who can’t find time to relax and I always tell them that quality “me time” isn’t found—you have to make it! After all, you’re the one who works hard to get through the day; you deserve a little time to yourself.

Your personal time doesn’t have to take long—15 to 20 minutes is just enough for your mind to clear and your muscles to relax in a warm tanning bed. Make enough time for all that stress to melt away. You’ll be surprised by how much better you feel—physically, mentally and emotionally—just by empowering yourself for a few minutes every day.

Sun Tan City’s Facebook page has reached 3,000 fans! Thank you so much for your support. It’s thanks to our tanners that we’ve been able to accomplish so much and spread the word about making time to shine. But don’t stop now—we’re just getting started!

Tell your friends and family about your experiences at Sun Tan City or bring them with you the next time you tan. Let’s encourage everyone we know to take time out of the day for a bit of personal pampering. After all, everyone should be able to look and feel his or her best—we deserve it!
