Halloween is almost here! And if you’re as excited as I am, you already have your costume ready to go. But even if you’re not going out on the town in costume this year, one thing is for sure—you’re going to shine above the rest with your radiant golden tan!

In celebration of the season, Sun Tan City wants to see how you shine—in costume or not—by uploading pictures of how you celebrate Halloween! Check out the Sun Tan City Facebook and MySpace pages to see how you can upload and share your tan images with the rest of the STC social community.

Good news everyone! The Sun Tan City nearest you will remain open during normal business hours on Halloween. Come on by whether you’re looking to get an instant sunless tan in the VersaSpa^® for a quick splash of color for your Halloween costume, or just relax and unwind with a warm session in one of our beds before the trick-or-treaters start coming out. We’ll be open until 10 p.m. or our normal closing times depending on your chosen location.

Moisture is the secret to great looking skin. No ifs, ands, or buts—for skin that’s soft, healthy and beautiful, moisture is key. Drink Water! An oldie, but a goodie. Water does more for your body than any other food or beverage out there. Even making an effort to drink a glass of water with every meal to get more H₂O in your system will have great benefits for your skin.

Use Moisturizing Body Wash. Aside from lotion, body wash is another topical opportunity to get in a little extra moisture. For best results, use a tan extender body wash.

Choose A Lotion. Of course, the number one way to stay moisturized while tanning is to use the right lotion for your skin type. Special nourishing agents and vitamins packed into every lotion are designed to replenish essential nutrients lost during the tanning process.

Sun Tan City was proud to be a sponsor of the Concours d’Elegance Fashion Show at Churchill Downs on Oct. 4^th. The event supported Brooklawn Child and Family Services, which is a “Psychiatric Residential Treatment Center for Adolescents and Children and has been providing hope and healing to young minds and hearts since 1851.”

On October 2^nd, we had a great time sponsoring the University of Louisville football game. STAR members were invited to purchase tickets and hang out with us in the Cardinal Village for tailgating before the game.
