Killing Two Birds with One Stone: New Salon and a New State

On the 21st, we opened a new salon in Rochester, New Hampshire! It’s located at 306 N. Main Street in the Globe Plaza. So, we invite you to stop in for a tour and learn more about Sun Tan City.

We are very excited to expand to a new state and can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks about our newest salon.

Holiday Hours

To spend time with our families, we will close at 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 24th. We will also be closed on Christmas day.

Our salons will also close at 7 p.m. on New Years Eve and open on New Years Day at 10 a.m.

We’ve Done it Again!

That’s right, we have reached 200 Twitter followers! It’s been a blast tweeting with everyone and it is so much fun to learn what you love about Sun Tan City. But it’s also been a great place to learn about the areas we can improve at our salons.

It’s Been a Great Year!

We have accomplished all sorts of things in this past year!

One of my proudest achievements is updating the look of many of our salons. We chose bright, warm colors to make your tanning experience more enjoyable. So, we hope you like this update.

Also, we’ve opened several new salon locations throughout the year to make it even more convenient for when you to want to tan, where you want to tan.

Community involvement is extremely important to us at Sun Tan City, from sponsoring the Fifth Third Tennis Championship in Lexington, Kentucky, to holding a toy and money drive for the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation.

We also expanded into Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace to be where you are.

Thank you for being a part of what we do! It’s been a pleasure being the place of choice for your “me” time.

Blend Tanning Lotions

Blend is one of the tanning lotion lines we offer here at Sun Tan City. We are one of two tanning salon chains this company is willing to sell their products to, so it’s a great honor.

Personally, I love this line because you get great results and it’s not quite as pricey as some of the other lotions.

They have a full line, so you can get a face lotion, bronzer or regular lotion, tan extender body wash (which I use every day because it smells very fresh and clean) and a tan extender lotion.

So if you want a lotion that doesn’t have an overpowering smell, give Blend a try. And as always, feel free to ask one of our tanning consultants about this line and they can show you the product.

Be the Multi-Tasking Champion: Whiten Your Teeth While Bronzing Your Skin

Standing out in a crowd is the result of long hours of effort and attention to detail. Feeling good and looking good comes from knowing that all your efforts paid off! But sometimes, there just aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything. Whitening your teeth is one of those little touches that can fall to the wayside if life gets too busy, but boy is it worth it! After all, your smile is one of the first things people notice.

When I found out that you could whiten your teeth while you tan at Sun Tan City, I was so excited! Taking care of my teeth and my tan at the same time just made sense. Turns out, it’s way more common than you’d think. And that’s not really surprising…just purchase the teeth whitening kit, pop in the tray just before you lay down and relax your time away. It’s also reusable! Voila!

Golden bronze skin and a pearly white smile, all in one convenient place—that’s how I let myself shine.
