Elizabethtown, KY — July 20, 2009 — Sun Tan City, a leader in the indoor sun tanning industry, announced its sponsorship of the Fifth Third Bank Tennis Championships. The Challenger Tournament will take place at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex at the University of Kentucky on July 20-26, 2009.

"We are very proud to be able to sponsor the Fifth Third Bank Tennis Championships. Not only are we able to support athletes in this very competitive event, but we are also able to support our Lexington community," said Rick Kueber, Founder/CEO of Sun Tan City. Sun Tan City currently operates six tanning salon locations in the Lexington area.

Sun Tan City is a co-sponsor of the Ladies Night event, which takes place the evening of July 23. The Ladies Night Tournament is 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., with the Ladies Night Events immediately following the tournament.

The Fifth Third Bank Tennis Championships is the only combined men's and women's Challenger on the USTA Pro Circuit, showcasing players with world rankings from approximately 50 to 200.
