Leadership at Sun Tan City
At Sun Tan City, we believe that a business is only as strong as the people behind it. Each member of our leadership team possesses a unique combination of strengths and expertise that has led Sun Tan City to emerge as a leader in the tanning industry.

In 2002, Rick sold his business to Movie Gallery, the second largest North American video retailer.
Along with his brother David, Rick opened the doors to the first Sun Tan City in January 1999 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Today, Sun Tan City has over 230 locations in 17 states.
Rick currently is serving on the American Suntanning Association (ASA) board of directors. He is also a member of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), a worldwide organization of elite business leaders. In June 2010, Rick received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2010 Award in the retail category in South Central Ohio & Kentucky. Rick attended Marquette University.
